May is #CleanAirMonth - the perfect time to take action for healthier air and a greener planet! 🌎🌿

Here’s how YOU can make a difference this month:
🌬️ Advocate for clean air by supporting local policies that reduce emissions.
🌱 Swap out gas-powered equipment (like cooking appliances or outdoor power tools - lawn mowers, leaf blowers, or chainsaws) for electric versions.
🏡 Improve your indoor air quality by opening windows for fresh ventilation, adding houseplants as natural air filters, and choosing gentle, chemical-free cleaners.
📚 Stay informed-learn about your neighborhood’s air quality by following @pacoimabeautiful!

Small changes add up to big results. Let’s breathe easier together this May! 💚🌍

The LA Times recently released a guide to help fireproof our homes to prepare for wildfire danger. They shared that the best way to protect our homes is by reducing the fuel the embers can ignite, creating fuel breaks that prevent spot fires from growing, & keeping flames low to the ground. It’s important to clear areas within 100 ft of your home, focusing on the first 5 ft especially. 🏠

And teaming up with neighbors is the most effective for community-wide fire safety! 🤝🏼
