Green Together Collaborative Updates (2025)

As phase one of our Transformative Climate Communities grant ends, we are so excited to celebrate our many accomplishments and look forward to continued collaboration with the Pacoima community in 2025 and 2026!

Things to celebrate!

  • Wrapped up GRID’s Workforce Development project and provided hands-on training to nearly 100 individuals in the fast-growing solar energy industry (GRID Alternatives)
  • Launched a new all-electric DASH route connecting Pacoima to Panorama City this past May 2025 – the first all-electric bus service in the San Fernando Valley (LA Department of Transportation)
  • Installed 3 solar-powered EV charging stations to sustainably increase access to the outdoors (Trust for Public Land)

Looking forward!

  • Improving pedestrian infrastructure through March 2026
  • Planting more trees and training urban forestry professionals through February 2026
  • Installing more solar systems for commercial spaces and single-family homes through May 2026
  • Growing our urban green spaces through December 2026
